Report: Chris Brown to spend jail time in solitary confinement

Listen to Chris Brown on iHeartRadio

Chris Brown will not have much company during his time behind bars.  This week a Los Angeles judge jailed the singer until his April 23rd probation hearing after he was kicked out of court-ordered rehab.

TMZ.com says the singer will spend that time in solitary confinement for 23 hours per day.  While he'll be able to exercise and read books in his cell, Brown won't have immediate access to a shower.  Apparently, the singer will only be allowed to bathe once every two days.

At his April 23rd probation hearing, a judge will make a ruling based on the result of his Washington D.C. trial for misdemeanor assault.  While that trial begins on April 17th, it's not clear whether Brown will be released from jail to attend it.  If he's convicted in the nation's capital, the Los Angeles judge could lock Brown up for up to four years for violating his probation in the 2009 Rihanna assault case.
