Boy brings grenade to school for D-Day presentation, mother arrested

After sending her son to school with a grenade meant for a D-Day presentation, Lisa Miguel, 44, has been charged with “risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of an explosive,” according to WTNH.

The school was put on lockdown, and a bomb squad finally confirmed that it was indeed a dud, used in practice drills.
